  2. Apply onion juice directly to your scalp, focusing on areas with hair thinning.
  3. Gently massage for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Leave it on for 30–60 minutes. (Cover with a shower cap to minimize mess.)
  5. Rinse and shampoo twice to remove the smell.

Do this 2 times a week for 4–6 weeks consistently.


How to Mask the Smell

Onion juice isn’t the most glamorous beauty product. But if the smell turns you off, try this:

  • Add 5–10 drops of rosemary essential oil to your onion juice mix.
  • Use a scented shampoo with peppermint or lavender to cleanse your hair after treatment.
