Apple Cider Mimosa

This easy Apple Cider Mimosa combines dry Brut sparkling wine with unfiltered apple cider, fresh lemon juice, cinnamon, and thin apple slices for a crisp and festive fall brunch cocktail.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 fl oz 473 ml unfiltered apple cider, chilled
  • 16 fl oz 473 ml Brut champagne or dry sparkling wine, chilled
  • 2 teaspoons 10 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 thin apple slices

Instructions
 

  • Chill champagne flutes or coupe glasses in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
  • Add ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) fresh lemon juice to each glass.
  • Pour 4 fl oz (120 ml) chilled apple cider into each glass.
  • Slowly pour 4 fl oz (120 ml) chilled Brut champagne or dry sparkling wine down the side of each glass.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and thin apple slice.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Keep both liquids chilled.
Use unfiltered apple cider rather than clear apple juice.
Brut or Extra Brut sparkling wine works best.
Prosecco can be substituted for champagne.
Don't stir after adding the sparkling wine.
Don't pre-mix the drinks because they will lose carbonation.
Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
