Equipment

  • High-speed blender or standard blender
  • Measuring cups
  • * Measuring spoons
  • Small bowl (for soaking dates if needed)
  • * Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Tall serving glass

Ingredients

  • 2 large Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • ½ cup canned coconut milk
  • ¼ cup cold water

Optional Add-Ins

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • Handful of fresh spinach

Instructions

  • Remove the pits from the dates. If they are firm, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then drain.
  • Add the coconut milk and water to a blender.
  • Add the dates, frozen mango, and any optional add-ins.
  • Blend on high for 60–90 seconds, or until completely smooth and creamy.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more water or coconut milk. If it's too thin, add more frozen mango and blend again.
  • Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Soft Medjool dates blend more easily and provide the best natural sweetness.
Frozen mango creates a thick, creamy smoothie without needing ice.
Soak dry dates before blending for the smoothest texture.
Adjust the liquid to create your preferred consistency.
Enjoy immediately for the freshest flavor, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours in an airtight container.
