  • * Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Small fork or whisk
  • * Spoon

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon optional
  • 2 –3 tablespoons diced fresh peaches or well-drained canned peaches

Optional Toppings

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Fresh peach slices
  • Honey
  • Caramel sauce
  • Chopped pecans
  • Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Dice the peaches into small bite-sized pieces. If using canned or frozen peaches, drain and pat them dry.
  • In a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Stir just until combined.
  • Fold in the diced peaches, reserving a few pieces for the top if desired.
  • Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds, depending on your microwave's power. The cake should be set on top but still soft.
  • Let the mug cake cool for 1 minute before serving.
  • Top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, fresh peaches, or caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

* Use a 12-ounce mug to prevent overflow.
* Start checking the cake after 60 seconds since microwave power varies.
* Do not overcook or the cake may become rubbery.
* Fresh peaches provide the best flavor, but canned or thawed frozen peaches work well when drained.
* Enjoy immediately for the softest texture.
