  • Electric hand mixer
  • Sharp paring knife
  • * Cutting board
  • Piping bag
  • Round or star piping tip

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh medium to large strawberries
  • 225 g full-fat cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini chocolate chips for the eyes

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries and pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  • Cut off the leafy tops to create flat bases. Slice off the pointed top third of each strawberry to make the hats.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined and fluffy.
  • Transfer the cream cheese filling into a piping bag fitted with a round or star tip.
  • Place the strawberry bases upright on a serving plate. Pipe a generous dollop of filling onto each base.
  • Place the pointed strawberry tops over the filling to create Santa's hats.
  • Pipe a small dot of filling onto each hat tip to create the pom-pom.
  • Gently press two mini chocolate chips into the filling to make the eyes.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy fresh for the best texture.

Notes

- Choose firm strawberries with pointed tips.
- Dry the strawberries thoroughly before assembling.
- Use full-fat block cream cheese for a thicker filling.
- If the filling is too soft, refrigerate it for 15–20 minutes before piping.
- Assemble close to serving time because cut strawberries release moisture.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and enjoy within 1–2 days.
- These Strawberry Santas are best served fresh.
